How I Can Help You

An overview of my therapeutic services. Feel free to reach out if your concern isn't listed here.

Mental Health Concerns

Many of the concerns people bring to me can be found here.

Anxiety & Panic

Support for anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and excessive everyday worry.

Depression & Life Crises

Support through depressive episodes, lack of motivation, and persistent exhaustion, as well as guidance through periods of change such as separation, grief, or career transition.

Stress & Overload

Strategies for managing work-related overload and restoring balance.

Complex Psychological Burdens

For pronounced, long-standing burdens, one of my professional focus areas is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – particularly in dealing with intense emotions and interpersonal relationships. Learn more: What is DBT?

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a diagnosis-specific method and the gold standard for BPD. The goal is to recognize unwanted behavior and, through skills and mindfulness, find new ways forward in the long term.

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (cPTSD)

DBT-PTSD combines the methods of DBT with exposure training. The goal is to reduce dissociation as well as distress and avoidance behavior.

Diagnostics

If it's unclear what's behind your symptoms, a thorough assessment can bring initial clarity and form the basis for further steps.

Psychiatric Diagnostics

Thorough psychiatric assessment to clarify your symptoms as a basis for further treatment planning.

ADHD Assessment

Thorough assessment for suspected ADHD in adulthood, including guidance on further treatment options.

Treatment & Therapy Formats

Depending on your concern, different forms of treatment may be suitable.

Individual Therapy

Personal support for adults in one-on-one sessions, tailored to your individual situation. Online sessions are generally possible (by arrangement).

Group Therapy

Therapeutic support in a group setting, enabling mutual exchange and the practice of new behaviors.
DBT skills group (also possible in combination with individual therapy.)

Psychiatric Treatment

Specialist psychiatric treatment as part of my work as a Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, including guidance on treatment options.

Costs & Billing

Unless stated otherwise, session fees are based on the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ). Depending on your personal situation, there are different ways to cover the costs:

Private Health Insurance

Whether and to what extent costs are covered depends on your individual insurance contract and tariff. Please check the terms of your private health insurance in advance.

Beihilfe (Civil Servant Allowance)

Eligibility for Beihilfe and the amount reimbursed depend on the applicable Beihilfe regulations. A supplementary private insurance may also be relevant.

Self-Pay

Treatment can also be financed independently of insurance. Billing is handled directly with you according to the applicable German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).
